Introduction

Cavapoos are beautiful mixed breed dogs stemming from parent dogs Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Poodles. These beautiful, curious little pups are such a wonder to look at and guarantee to melt the hearts of even the most emotionally resilient person in your family. If you’re looking for an easy, loving, playful, and affectionate pup, a Cavapoo could be everything you’ve been looking for.

History

Since Cavapoos are a relatively new breed of pooch, there’s not much to say about their history since they are still being cross-bred and registered in countries around the world. However, we do know they were bred as designer dogs in the US, either as beautiful companion dogs or for performances in agility shows.

We do, however, know a lot about Cavapoos’ parent dogs. The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel has been around since the 1600s under the English rule of King Charles I, and Poodles have been around since Ancient Egypt times and have always been revered as elegant breeds that are common picks for wealthy or royal families.

Even looking at a Cavapoo and you can see and feel this royal aura that surrounds the dog, but nowadays their company is enjoyed by all families and households, whether they’re royalty or not.

Personality

What makes modern-day Cavapoos so great is that they can be great company for anybody kind of dog owner. Whether you’ve just moved out of your parent’s house and you’re looking for some company, or you’re an elderly company looking for an easy dog to take care of; a Cavapoo is for you.

Bred as companion dogs, Cavapoos are full of love and affection, easy to train, and eager to please, which ensures that training them is easy. Just make sure you’re assertive during the training phase of their life since Cavapoos can develop bad habits that will make them entitled, spoiled, and not easy to be around.
