Introduction

Lhatese dogs are a happy, fluffy ball of boundless energy. These small dogs are always full of joy, with a sparkle in their eye.

They also make for wonderful little companions. Thanks to the Lhasa Apso side of their parentage in particular, Lhatese pups are renowned for their unwavering loyalty and doe-eyed devotion to their owners. So, they’ll love curling up on your lap on the sofa just as much as they do dashing about with you around the park.

Did you know? Lhatese dogs may have a slight cheeky streak, but these dogs always feel happy when they can see that they’ve made you feel the same. They’re not always the easiest dogs to train, but after a bit of patience, they can be very obedient (especially once they see that you’re pleased by their good behaviour).

History

Lhatese dogs are a cross between a Lhasa Apso and a Maltese. As with many cross breeds, the Lhatese breed of dogs is one which has only become popular in recent years. Now, however, the love of Lhatese dogs across the world is growing at a rapid rate.

It is believed that the first intentionally bred Lhatese dogs originate from America.

Personality

The Lhasa Apso strain of their parentage has provided Lhatese dogs with a notable defensive nature. They are devoted to their owners, and this streak of protectiveness is their way of showing it. The best way to stop this from developing into an anti-social nature as they grow up is by working to socialise your Lhatese when it is a puppy.

There are lots of highly rewarding traits in Lhatese dogs. They are intelligent, lively, inherently positive and full of love. It’s this delightful and characterful personality that make Lhatese pups such a wonderful addition to a home.
