Introduction

Sam Sawet are a lively breed of cat with an equally active mind. These cats love to have fun. But they’re by no means crazy or badly behaved. In fact, Sam Sawets are renowned for being chill additions to a family home, who will happily and calmly make themselves at home. This laid-back nature gives the Sam Sawet breed quite a characteristic level of independence. As a result, they’re not necessarily the ‘follow you around the house all day long’ kinda cats. But, they do love a good fuss now and then.

Did you know? Sam Sawets have a rather distinctive face shape. Their face structure includes a wedge-like face, with high cheekbones, which draw downwards into a small mouth. This, coupled with their rather strong nose, has led to them often being described as having a ‘Roman nose’.

History

The Sam Sawet breed originally comes from Thailand. However, there isn’t that much which is known about this particular breed. In fact, the Sam Sawet is not an officially recognised breed amongst most of the major Cat organisations.

Personality

Sam Sawets are, for the vast majority of the time, totally laid-back cats. They are playful without going overboard, and are loving without sticking to your side like glue. They are happily living in a house with children and other pets but, it would certainly be wise to properly socialise your Sam Sawet while it is still young.
