Collection: Personalised Savannah Gifts

As with any good paw-rent, we’re completely, utterly biased in thinking that our cat is the prettiest in the world. As a result, it seemed only natural for us to allow the nation’s cat owners to create bespoke pieces that featured the furry face of their gorgeous family cat. At DYEFOR, we make it easier than ever for Savannah owners to create bespoke keepsakes, which the whole family will treasure forever. This range of personalised Savannah gifts make the perfect pressie for any member of the family.

Introduction

Savannah cats are renowned for their wild cat temperament - this is hardly surprising, the clue is in their name. Savannahs aren’t exactly what you’d call a low-maintenance cat. They’re lots of fun to have around at home, but this joy comes from a sense of being mischievous and playful, rather than cosy cuddles on the sofa.

Did you know? You may expect a feline with wild roots to be a little stand-offish with humans. But this certainly isn’t the case with Savannah cats. In fact, they’re well known to enjoy going on walks with their humans, while staying on a lead. They love to explore, but are more than happy to do so by your side.

History

Savannah cats have a rather intriguing origin story. In fact, these cats were first developed after breeders crossed a standard domestic cat with a Serval. A Serval is a wild cat of a medium size, which originates from Africa. In fact, the name Savannah comes from the name that was given to the first successful kitten born from this cross breed.

Personality

As delightful as they are, it’s important to take note of the fact that Savannah cats have a definite naughty streak. If they are left idle and you don’t work to keep their brain sufficiently active, you may find that your furniture ends up in shreds. Don’t be put off by this though; Savannahs are a highly rewarding family cat. They are affectionate and sociable, and love to be around people. They’ll delight in playing games with you, and you’ll soon be getting up to all sorts of fun together.
